1.9 percent of University of Nebraska at Omaha students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 1.9 percentage of University of Nebraska at Omaha students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of Nebraska at Omaha has 12,624 undergraduate students, of which 52 percent are women and 48 percent are men, and a total student body of 15,731 students. Of these students, 118 men and 188 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of Nebraska at Omaha with the most participants are all track combined (67), soccer (53) and swimming and diving (36).
